A beautiful, slow growing, small tree with smooth, gray, fluted bark. A native understory tree with good shade tolerance.

Habit:Small tree with a vase-shaped branching pattern and a wide spreading flat top, sometimes irregular

Color:Dark green in summer
Texture:Medium-fine
