Flowering dogwood

One of the best native flowering trees, with ornamental characteristics in all seasons. Its use is limited by lack of cold hardiness in northern areas.

Habit:A low branched broad-rounded tree with horizontal branches Size: Potentially 30-40' high, usually about 20' high in cooler parts of the country
