Cornus sericea
Redosier dogwood

Valued for its bright red winter stems, this medium to large deciduous shrub also has attractive white flowers and fruits.

Habit:Broad rounded, multistemmed, suckering, spreads by undergrounds stems (stoloniferous); the lower branches lay on the ground, unlike the vertically ascending stems of C. alba.
