A small rounded not commonly used native tree grown for its white flowers, tolerance of adverse conditions and sometimes for its purple foliaged cultivar.

Habit:Rounded, multi-stemmed or branching just above ground, branches often crooked
Size:20-30' high

Texture:Medium-fine
Hardiness:Zone 2a USDA
