Ulmus parvifolia
Chinese elm

A beautiful ornamental asset, the patchy and multicolored bark features irregular patches of grays, greens, and browns surrounded by orange curvilinear lines of lenticels. The bark of this species is greatly superior to the ridged and furrowed gray bark of the Chinese elm, Ulmus pumila.
