Abies cilicica
Cicilian fir

Culture: A good plant in the Midwest where hardy because of its tolerance for heavy soils, alkaline conditions and hot summers. The tree continues to hold its lower branches with time.

Usage: Used in the landscape as a specimen because of its narrow habit and large size. Notable specimens exist in Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio.
