Culture: This is a very adaptable species where it is hardy, including tolerance of high pH soils and salt. Sycamore maples are susceptible to canker problems, which often results in small dead branches throughout the crown.
Usage: Although not widely used throughout the U.S., it may be a consideration for salty locations such as roadsides and along parking lots.
