Berberis x mentorensis

Berberis x mentorensis
Mentor barberry

Culture: Culture: Easy to transplant and very adaptable, this species prefers full sun to moderate shade and well-drained soil. It withstands hot and dry conditions.

This species is generally trouble-free in the landscape.

Usage: The mentor barberry is an excellent dense hedge plant, both sheared and unsheared. The uniformity of its habit makes it unnecessary for it to be sheared. It can also be used for mass plantings, barriers and foundation plantings.
