Orange-red trumpet-like flowers are borne from July to September. The flowers are 2-4" long, 1 1/2" in diameter at the mouth, red on the outside limb and scarlet on the inside. The flowers are borne in clusters of 4-12 and vary in their intensity of orange to orange-red. Flowering can be extended by removal of spent flowers or young fruits.
