Chamaecyparis nootkatensis
Nootka falsecypress

A large conical evergreen conifer native from the Pacific Northwest into Alaska. The species is less commonly used than the other falsecypresses, but its pendulous form is becoming more readily available.

Habit:Slender, conical form with flexible and drooping branches
Size:60-90' high
Color:Dark green
Texture:Fine
Hardiness:Zone 5b USDA to 7b
Habitat:Washington to Alaska
