Chaenomeles x superba

Chaenomeles x superba
Hybrid flowering quince

Resembling those of Chaenomeles speciosa fairly closely, the leaves are intermediate between those of its two parents. The leaves tend to be a bit shorter and have a more rounded apex as compared to C. speciosa. Conversely the leaves are slightly longer and their apex is more pointed than those of C. japonica.
