Crataegus monogyna 'Stricta'
Upright singleseed hawthorn

Culture: The singleseed hawthorn prefers full sun in slightly acid, well-drained soils.

Fireblight is a severe problem with this selection, as are mites and various leaf diseases.

Usage: The upright form is more common in US commerce than the species. Used for its narrow habit, owners are often disappointed to find how wide this selection becomes with time.
