Culture: The Scotch broom prefers sandy, dry, infertile soils, full sun and is pH adaptable. This sea-coast species is salt tolerant.
Usage: Commonly used in Europe as a road-side planting. Although less common, this species and its hybrids are used in the Southern U.S. where cold hardiness is not a limiting factor.
