Ilex crenata 'Convexa'
Convex-leaved Japanese holly

A very broad-rounded medium to large evergreen shrub with highly glossy convex leaf surfaces. Although this is one of the more cold hardy forms available, it is still marginally hardy in the central Illinois area.

Habit:Slightly vase-shaped and very broad-rounded, extremely dense
Size:9' high and at least twice as wide; commonly under 6' in cold climates
Color:Dark green in all seasons
Texture:Fine
Hardiness:Zone 6a USDA
