A common prostrate grayish green groundcover that has a tendency to mound up in the center with age.

Habit:Procumbent, wide spreading form; lays flat on ground if given adequate space or mounds up in center if crowded
Size:8-12" (occasionally up to 2-3') x 10-15' wide
Color:Bluish-green to grayish-green
Texture:Medium-fine
Hardiness:Zone 4b USDA
Habitat:Native to the mountains of Japan
