Culture: Castor-aralia prefers full sun and rich soils. It is tolerant of alkaline soils. No serious pest problems occur on this plant.
Usage: Not commonly used in landscapes but it's easy to grow and pest free. It resembles a tropical plant due to its large leaves and coarse texture. The seed takes two years to germinate.
