Lonicera xylosteoides European fly x tatarian honeysuckle
Grayish brown and wooly pubescent, the 1/4 - 1/3"-long buds are conical and borne at a nearly 90-degree angle to the stem. If the buds are superimposed, the upper pair borne at a 45-degree angle. Occasionally even 3 pair are borne at a node.
