Picea abies 'Pendula'
Weeping Norway spruce

Plants bearing the 'Pendula' label represent a group of taxa that have pendulous branching to a greater or lesser extent. This collective term is probably best represented by the assignment of the group as forma pendula. The most common selections bearing the name 'Pendula' have a fairly upright leader with secondary and tertiary branching being very pendulous.

Habit:Conical to pyramidal with weeping secondary and tertiary branches, although the habits are variable within the group; the ultimate shape is greatly determined by the training provided to the leader.
Size:20-60' high, depending upon training and plant variability
