Pinus parviflora 'Glauca'

Pinus parviflora 'Glauca'
Glaucous Japanese white pine

Culture: The Glaucous Japanese white pine performs best in full sun in most soil types as long as drainage is good. The species also exhibits good salt tolerance.

Although subject to rusts, wood rots, nematodes, and sawflies, none are serious.

Usage: Because of its bright blue color and picturesque habit, it is useful as a specimen or accent plant, and is good for small sites.
