Douglasfir

The 3/4 - 1 1/4" evergreen needles are flattened and spirally arranged with a tendency to be two-ranked. Appearing as if borne on a petiole, the dark glossy green needles are grooved above and bear two faint white stomatal bands below. They emit a camphor-like odor when scratched.
