Pyrus calleryana 'Red Spire'
Red Spire callery pear

A narrow oval form that has a reduced number of leaders and a stronger branching structure than 'Bradford'. It shows some susceptibility to fireblight.

Habit:Narrow oval to narrow rounded-pyramidal, branched low in crown, has a small number of vertical leaders; less formal than 'Bradford'
Size:30-40' high by 25-30' wide
Color:Glossy dark green in summer, changing to a combination of yellow and red in autumn
Hardiness:Zone 5a USDA
