Fastigiate English oak

A common fastigiate form that varies in width because it comes partially true from seed. Its habit can break open due to ice and snow loads in northern areas. It is also commonly sold as 'Fastigiata'.

Habit:Fastigiate, narrow, the width is somewhat variable depending upon source, often breaking open with ice and snow loads with age in the Midwest
Size:40 to 60' high, 10 to 15' wide
Color:Dark green
Texture:Medium
Hardiness:Zone 5b USDA
