Eastern arborvitae

A medium to large conical evergreen conifer that is represented by numerous cultivars that differ in habit, size and color. The narrow forms are frequently used in screens and tall hedges.

Habit:Conical, often with a single leader but can have two or three
Size:40-60' high
Color:Dark green in summer, some selections yellow-brown in winter
Texture:Fine
Hardiness:Zone 3a USDA
Habitat:Nova Scotia - Manitoba - Tennessee - North Carolina - Illinois
