Viburnum x burkwoodii
Burkwood viburnum

Oppositely arranged on the stem, the glossy dark green leaves are semi-evergreen and ovate to elliptic-ovate. The leaves range from 1 1/2 to 3" long and are 3/4 to 1" wide. They feel rough to the touch on the upper surface, but below they are brown and softly tomentose. Their margins are very slightly toothed. The glossy surface and nearly entire margins easily distinguish this species from Viburnum carlesii and Viburnum x juddii.
