Buxus microphylla
Littleleaf boxwood

Small, opposite and evergreen, the 1/3 to 1" leaves are elliptic to obovate, and entire with the margins rolled under, producing a thick feel to them. The tops of the leaves vary from a light green to a dark green while the undersides are a bright yellow-green. The midvein is the only obvious venation. Leaf size, width and glossiness varies with the selection. These leaves are toxic to animals.
