Buxus sempervirens

Buxus sempervirens
Common boxwood

Very similar to Buxus microphylla, although they are slightly wider toward the base and thus are elliptic to slightly ovate. Leaf color varies from a medium to a dark green and can be either dull or glossy. Like the common boxwood, the mid-vein is very prominent on this species.
