Cotoneaster apiculatus
Cranberry cotoneaster

Most frequently a reddish purple forming very late in the season, the coloration on this species is fairly decent, ranging from a deep purple to a good red. On some plants, not all leaves color at the same time, so the display lasts longer but is not as showy as it could be if they all colored at the same time.
