Hypericum prolificum
Shrubby St. John's wort

Perfect and bright yellow, the 3/4 to 1" diameter flowers are comprised of a mass of bright yellow stamens borne above 5 obovate petals from late June into August. Since the flowers are borne at the ends of the stems and they contrast nicely with the blue-green leaves, they are quite showy.
