Hypericum prolificum
Shrubby St. John's wort

Culture: A fairly adaptable species, this plant tolerates acid or alkaline soils, moist to quite dry soils and prefers full sun or part shade. It has also performed well in the Midwest's heavy soils.

Usage: This species is useful in shrub borders where it forms nice masses, producing excellent displays of yellow summer flowers.
