Ilex pedunculosa
Longstalk holly

Culture: This is one of most cold-hardy evergreen hollies with attractive leaf and fruit production. It tolerates numerous adverse conditions. Moist, acid soils are best, however.

There are no serious problems associated with this plant.

Usage: This species has excellent landscape potential, especially for the Midwest. Unfortunately, it is not commonly available. This species would make an excellent evergreen backdrop for flowering plants.
