Lonicera tatarica
Tatarian honeysuckle

Opposite, simple and ovate to oblong-lanceolate, the 1 1/2 - 2 1/2" long leaves are dark bluish green, entire and glabrous. The truncate to subcordate base serves to distinguish this species from some of the other common honeysuckle species. The apex is short acuminate to acute. The leaves have a bit of an "arrowhead" shape.
