Mahonia bealei
Leatherleaf mahonia

The oval bluish-black berries are 1/3 - 1/2" long and covered with a white waxy bloom that makes the overall color an attractive light blue. They are borne on a bright red inflorescence from mid to late summer until eaten by birds.
