Culture: While some crabapples have variable disease resistance, this cultivar lacks that uncertainty and consistently performs poorly in humid areas (much of the US), with strong susceptibility to apple scab. If you like a crabapple without leaves in the middle to late summer, this crab's for you!
Usage: This selection should be removed from planting lists in all but the more arid areas of the country.
