Pachysandra procumbens
Allegheny pachysandra

Culture: This species prefers partial to full shade in acidic, moist, well-drained sites. It should be protected in harsh climates.

This species often has problems with burning and chlorosis when moisture is lacking and there is not enough shade.

Usage: This makes an excellent groundcover for shaded, protected areas. It makes a very attractive and uniform groundcover in both formal and naturalizing situations.
