Prunus cerasifera
Plum

Cultivars typically have light reddish-purple (species light green), alternate, elliptic-obovate leaves with rounded serrations. The 1 1/2 - 2" leaves have netted venation, an acute to obtuse apex and a rounded base. The leaves are glabrous above and below except for hairs on the midrib and veins below. If glands are present on the petiole, they occur at the junction with the blade.
