Rosa blanda

Rosa blanda
Meadow rose

Single, light pink, and fragrant, the 1 3/4 - 2 1/2" showy flowers are borne solitary or in clusters of 3-7 from late May into June. The broad obovate or nearly triangular petals overlap each other and subtend the bright yellow-green stamens. The flowers contrast nicely with the dark foliage.
