Spiraea prunifolia
Bridalwreath spirea

Alternate, simple and elliptic-ovate, the 1 – 1 1/2" leaves of this species are more glossy than those of other spireas. Their margins are finely denticulate on the terminal one-half, with the serrations gradually decreasing in size towards the base. The upper surfaces are glabrous and very shiny while the undersides are dull and sparcely covered with appressed hairs.
