Vanhoutte spirea

An envy of the spiraea world, this large, arching, and rounded shrub is well known for its heavy cascading displays of white flowers in mid spring. It is sometimes incorrectly labeled as bridalwreath spirea, a name more correctly applied to Spiraea prunifolia.

Habit:Rounded and distinctly arching, vase-shaped, cascading branches
Size:6-8' high, occasionally to 10' high
Color:Bluish green
Texture:Fine
Hardiness:Zone 3b USDA
Habitat:Spiraea cantoniensis x Spiraea trilobata, both Asian
Family:Rosaceae
