Spiraea x vanhouttei
Vanhoutte spirea

Primarily rhombic-ovate to rhombic-obovate in shape, the alternate and simple leaves are coarsely serrate to slightly incised on the terminal one-half and entire below. The deep serrations give the leaves a slightly 3-lobed appearance. They are ¾ - 1 ½" long, dull blue-green in color and glabrous with acute apices and bases. The undersides of the leaves are glaucous.
