Acer triflorum
Three-flowered maple

An excellent small maple for the landscape similar to paperbark maple with better hardiness and a bark that exfoliates in sheets of tan and gray. This tree is difficult to find but well worth the search.

Habit:Rounded and branching low
Size:20-30' high
Color:Light to medium green in summer
Texture:Medium-fine
Hardiness:Zone 5a USDA, displaying slightly greater cold hardiness than Acer griseum
Habitat:Korea - Manchuria
Family:Aceraceae
