Acer triflorum
Three-flowered maple

Culture: This species prefers acid soils and well drained conditions.

There are no serious pest problems.

Usage: A highly desirable landscape tree, three-flowered maple is small in size with excellent fall color and bark that captivates the viewer year-round. Coupled with its pest tolerance, it is a sure winner as a specimen or in small groupings, whether in residences, courtyards, or office parks. Acer triflorum received the 1996 Gold Medal Plant Award from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.
