Cornus alternifolia
Pagoda dogwood

Showy, creamy white and sickeningly fragrant, the small white 1/4" flowers are borne in 1 1/2 - 2 1/2" diameter flat-topped cymes from late May to early June. The flower cymes are borne at the ends of branches and serve to accentuate the horizontal lines of the sympodial branching.
