Corylus maxima 'Purpurea' Purple-leaved European filbert
Culture: Similar to the other filberts, this is a fairly adaptable and easy-to-grow plant. This species must be located in full sun in order to fully develop the purple-maroon leaf color. The transition from purple to green leaves is accelerated by hot weather.
