This old-fashioned favorite has been in cultivation for thousands of years. It's glossy dark green foliage makes it an excellent groundcover or climbing vine for most situations.

Habit:Juvenile form is a clinging vine or groundcover with root-like holdfasts; adult form is a rounded shrub
Size:90' high or long (vine) or 6-8" high (groundcover)
Color:Dark green in all seasons
Texture:Medium
Hardiness:Zone 5a USDA to 6b, depending on cultivar
Habitat:Caucausus Mountains in Europe
