Chinese holly

This large, rounded evergreen shrub from China is noted for its distinctive highly glossy and spiny foliage, along with its red fruit. Its name is derived from the word, "cornuta" which means horned, referring to the spiny leaf margins.

Habit:Dense, rounded to broad-rounded, uniform
Size:10-15' high, occasionally up to 20'
Color:Dark highly glossy green in all seasons
Texture:Medium-fine
Hardiness:Zone 7a USDA
Habitat:E. China - Korea
