Savin juniper

This species is represented in the trade by a range of groundcover cultivars with spreading habits. Most newer selections are resistant to juniper blight.

Habit:This species is typically represented as a spreading, somewhat vase-shaped shrub, with branches that ascend at a 45-degree angle; it can range from a groundcover with a spreading habit to a large broad-rounded shrub
Size:2-6' high x 5-10' wide
Color:Dark green to dull grayish green
Texture:Medium-fine
Hardiness:Zone 3b USDA
Habitat:Central and southern Europe - Asia - Siberia
