
| Lonicera x heckrottii Goldflame honeysuckleOpposite, simple and elliptic to elliptic-oblong, the 1 1/2 - 2 1/2" long leaves are entire and glabrous with a lustrous dark bluish-green upper surface and a glaucous underside. Leaves near the apex are triangular-ovate, slightly lobed at the base and connate-perfoliate, that is, the pairs of leaves opposite one another are fused at their bases with the stem traveling through the middle. The new foliage is purplish in color. |
