Pieris floribunda

Pieris floribunda
Mountain pieris

Borne in upright panicles above the foliage, the showy fragrant white flowers appear in April for 2-4 weeks. The 2-4" clusters are composed of small 1/4"-long flowers with urn-shaped corollas and 5 small lobes at their tip. The upright nature of the panicles distinguishes this species from Pieris japonica.
