A medium to large broad rounded and somewhat irregular shrub grown for its early light pink to white flowers and edible red cherry-like fruits.

Habit:Broad rounded to open irregular, picturesque or ratty with age
Size:6-10' high
Color:Deep green
Texture:Medium-fine, becoming more coarse with age
Hardiness:Zone 3a USDA
Habitat:North and Western China, Japan
