Manchu cherry

One of first Prunus species to flower, the Manchu cherry features numerous, small, single, light pink turning to white flowers that are 5/8 - 3/4" in diameter. They fragrant flowers create a brief light airy effect in early April just before the leaves emerge. The overall effect is slightly showy to moderately showy.
